Welcome to WalkRoute. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using WalkRoute, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

WalkRoute is a mobile application that allows you to record walking routes, mark spots with photos and descriptions, share routes with others, and discover routes created by other users.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use WalkRoute
• One person may not maintain more than one account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the routes, photos, and descriptions you create ("User Content"). By making content public or sharing it, you grant WalkRoute a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display your content to other users within the app.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• Contains personal information of others without consent
• Is spam or commercially misleading

5. Subscriptions

WalkRoute offers a free tier and optional paid subscriptions (WalkRoute Pro). Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission
• Create routes that intentionally lead to dangerous locations

7. Safety

WalkRoute provides walking routes for informational purposes. Always use common sense and be aware of your surroundings while walking. We are not responsible for your safety while following routes. Do not use the app while crossing streets or in situations requiring your full attention.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

WalkRoute is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that routes are accurate, safe, or suitable for any purpose. GPS accuracy may vary. Use the app at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WalkRoute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app's settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of WalkRoute after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes.
